The client has a west facing garden with a ‘dead’ area that wasn’t really utilised. It was therefore suggested – to make more of the sunlight – to incorporate a fitted, backed bench/lounger and matching free standing table.
The bench and table were constructed from reclaimed teak, which had to be machined, planed and belt sanded on-site. The client wanted the wood to be left untreated so that over time it would naturally develop a silver-grey patina.
The project also included the refitting of existing decked area.
